If you engage in a sport today that requires a helmet, most are designed and tested to only prevent or minimize skull Injuries.

But what about Concussions? 

Some progress has been made in incorporating padding and solutions to reduce impact severity, but today’s helmets are not specifically designed to significantly reduce and track concussion severity.

Concussions account for:

• 15%+ of all injuries in popular sports

• 50% of all concussions are not reported

• CTE (Chronic traumatic encephalopathy) brain degeneration is caused by repeated head traumas (Concussions)

• many sports do not report concussions because there is no reliable tracking metrics.

Today, because of the medical, media, sports and workplace attention to concussion and traumatic brain injury, it is clear that such injuries have skyrocketed to epidemic proportions. 

V2 Technology's mission is to build a helmet that helps protect against concussion severity.

Ten years ago Dr. Frey had an idea and hypothesis on concussions leading him to  identify one of the  root causes of Chronic  Traumatic Brain  (TBI) Injury and the associated scarring, damage and tissue's reaction to  head  trauma.  Dr. Frey 'looked at concussions from the brains point of view', instead of  from the skull's in creating the patented technology of the VIBE Helmet
